East Meets West

A joint venture in contemporary art between the painter and curator Wilko and the Belarusian painter Alexandr Rodin, together with "The Zwischen Project," "Les Montmartrois de Berlin," and the Tacheles art house.

During the festival, we'll post all of the latest announcements and happenings on the main page ("Startseite"), so you can be up-to-date and in the know.

The entire art festival - a cooperative venture between ArtHaus 67, the German/English artists group "The Zwischen Project," the artists group Les Montmartrois de Berlin, and the Tacheles art house - is a not-for-profit celebration adhering to the following motto: "together, we'll conquer Berlin, from the sky above it to the earth below it." The festival will provide a perspective on the future development of the arts in Eastern and Western Europe. All exhibitors can be ranked among the creme de la creme of independent artists in their respective countries. The maxim of "East Meets West" has given rise to numerous encounters between artists from Western and Eastern Europe, as well as West and East Germany, and further cooperative ventures, both here and abroad, are on the horizon. The festival's patroness is the Berlin-based actress Janette Rauch.

The exhibition at FORUM FACTORY (Besselstraße 13 in 10969 Berlin) is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
